I use AI to understand faster and verify the result end to end
I use AI not simply as a code generator, but as an engineering tool for understanding problems faster and reducing implementation uncertainty. I apply it to codebase analysis, change-impact discovery, refactoring alternatives, and test-scenario planning, then verify the result through types, tests, and the actual runtime environment while retaining responsibility for the final decision.On C&Net's KCSC digital construction standards system, I worked with a complex hierarchy spanning facilities, review items, review elements, and variables, together with Java API integrations. I used AI development tools to explore related code and change points and to review refactoring directions and edge cases. In the implementation, I separated server and editing state with TanStack Query and Zustand, verified permissions, hierarchical editing, and data transformation with Jest and React Testing Library, and supported delivery through Docker and Jenkins.In my personal project Jango, I turned AI into a product capability that accounts for both user value and operational requirements. Inventory snapshots and expiry dates feed the OpenAI Responses API to recommend recipes that prioritize expiring ingredients, with consent, withdrawal, history deletion, and per-model cost observability built into the flow. I connected ML Kit OCR and bulk photo intake, shared refrigerators, Jango Plus billing and restoration, NestJS APIs, and a Next.js admin in one monorepo, then released version 1.4.0 on both the App Store and Google Play after 885 automated tests across 147 files passed.
